About J&C Fish Market
Located at 1308 Hempstead Turnpike, Elmont, NY 11003, J&C Fish Market operates as a seafood market serving Elmont in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Elmont with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in New York may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8:30 AMβ7 PM. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (516) 328-0226. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 75 reviews, which is a strong result for a seafood market in Elmont and suggests consistent service.
Elmont is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Elmont peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.
